Truth Serum…

“You’ve come into possession of one vial of truth serum. Who would you give it to (with the person’s consent, of course) — and what questions would you ask?”

My seventeen year old daughter is the first one who comes to mind. Why? Who would not want to venture into the true life of a teenager? To be young again, the unknown, the inexperience and above all, what were you doing last night while I was 180 miles away from home?

A parent’s intuition will almost always be about 90% truth but, to hear it directly from your child would be gold. To hear the truth from my child, without any serum, would be my shiny gold, “whose an awesome parent” star. But that actually happening? Forget it, I’ll take the truth serum please.

Now the game changer… giving the serum with her consent. Nope, not happening! So, I figure that is why there is not such thing as a truth serum.

Ok, now to do a ping back to The Daily Post…
